WHY WE’RE HERE
In 1996, the owner of Starr Tattoo Supplies stepped foot into the hygiene sector, manufacturing and supplying medical needles across the globe. Taking an interest (and soon-to-be obsession) in the tattoo industry, Colin soon realised he could utilise his needle knowledge to benefit the local tattoo artists and studios. Through trial and testing, Starr Tattoo Needles became the most sought after pre-soldered needle in the UK, and was eventually distributed around the world through tattoo giants - Kingpin.
Over the last 3 decades, Starr's range has developed into a full tattoo supply, that can fit out any tattoo studio from the ground up. Through years of conventions and artist relations, Starr is now recognised as the biggest independent supply company in the UK.
Our Home
In 2026, Starr moved premises. With higher demand from tattoo artists and studio owners and rapid growth of house brands, it was clear that Starr required a bigger location to continue expanding into.
This new premises offers more space for larger stock quantities to be held, ensuring the community is never left stranded for their favourite supplies. Plus, the additional room provides a space for new artist-led projects and media ventures, such as podcasting, seminars, tattoo tutorials and more.
The team at Starr continues to grow year on year too, therefore a new location with state of the art office and warehouse facilities assists in ensuring Starr provides the best for the industry day after day.
